Taichung

Taichung (traditional Chinese: 臺中市 or 台中市) is a city located in west-central Taiwan with a population of just over one million people, making it the third largest city on the island, after Taipei and Kaohsiung. It is officially administrated as a provincial city of Taiwan Province in the Republic of China. The city's name means "Central Taiwan."
